Rangeland Sciences

Rangeland science focuses on the study and sustainable management of wildland and working landscapes across a variety of different biomes.  The program takes an interdisciplinary, holistic approach that encompasses natural and human ecological systems.  Our mission is to contribute towards sustainable societies by providing transformative education skills and transdisciplinary research associated with contemporary issues (climate change, fire, water, invasive spp., etc.) of interest related to ecosystem science and resource management at local, regional, and global scales.
