URSA Engage Research Applications Due 1/31

URSA Engage provides first and second year students, and transfer students in their first year at OSU, opportunities to pursue research or a creative activity under the guidance of an OSU mentor. Awardees are expected to spend an average of 5 hours a week for the 15-week duration of the project (mid-Winter 2017 to the end of Spring 2017). The program will provide $750 for the undergraduate URSA Engage awardees. URSA Engage is designed to establish mentoring relationships for undergraduates early in their program at OSU. Thus, weekly interactions with mentors are required for URSA Engage projects.

If you plan to apply for an URSA Engage award, please register for the January 19 URSA Engage Information Workshop to be held at 102 Owen Hall between 5.00 PM and 6.30 PM.  The workshop agenda is available at: http://undergraduate.oregonstate.edu/research/ursa-engage-information-workshops.

Deadline to apply for the award is January 31.
