My watercolors range from soft florals to dreamy landscapes. The virtue of the work is the willingness to let the observer ponder the intensity of techniques. I have a particular fondness for flowers, trees and landscapes. Numerous summers spent in the wilds of Maine fostered a fondness for raw rocky seashores and dilapidated outbuildings and barns. It is wonderful living in Oregon as it gives me the opportunity to paint old growth forests and the wonderful Oregon coastal scenes.
