Multicultural Scholars program (MSP) will provide scholarships to BRR students!

OSU's College of Agriculture has won a grant from the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES) of the US Department of Agriculture to provide scholarships to BRR students. Scholarships will be for students interested in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Food Science, or Human Health and Nutrition, and who are from groups traditionally underrepresented in agriculture and food sciences, or first-generation college students. The goal of this CSREES program is to increase the numbers of highly-trained people in these groups to enter the workforce. The principal investigator on the grant is CAS's Associate Dean Larry Curtis, and other faculty/staff participants are BRR's Kate Field and Wanda Crannell, CAS Assistant Dean Cary Green, SMILE Director Eda Davis-Lowe, and EMT faculty member Dave Stone. More details on the scholarships and how to apply will be available on a Multicultural Scholars Program (MSP) web page:
