The Food Innovation Center (FIC) is a unique urban Agricultural Experiment Station located in Portland, Oregon. As part of Oregon State University, the FIC serves the Northwest food industry and communities, as well as national and international businesses. The FIC has three areas of excellence: a product and process development team to help new and established entrepreneurs bring products to market; a full service consumer sensory testing laboratory; and a food safety hub for education, testing and engineering.
