New OSU-MANRRS Chapter poster: Members created new poster for recruitment.
AgDays Booth and event: OSU MANRRS Chapter hosted our Jr. MANRRS members attending from Portland, Oregon -- RoseMary Anderson High School (RAHS). The RAHS students first visited the Oregon State University campus in Nov. 2008 during the Region VI workshop, and were on campus for leadership, laboratory and fun activities.

EOP Science and Math Education Underrepresented students workshop: Members attended workshop to encourage underrepresented students into Science and Math education field.
Relay for Life event: Members registered and participated in overnight campus relay to raise money for American Cancer Society.
All-University Award desert: Member was nominated and received Grace Wu Award for unbiased leadership.
Region VI Undergraduate and Graduate Vice President 09/10 attended leadership training in Washington DC.

CAS E.R. Jackman Grant Proposal: Prepared and submitted funding request to E.R. Jackman Board through the CAS Dean’s Office for 09/10 academic year support.
Officer Elections: New officers were elected for the 09/10 academic year.
April 2009
Monsato Professional Development Workshop: Representatives from Monsato gave presentations to students, workshop hosted by OSU-MANRRS Chapter, advertised to all CAS advisors and clubs as well as Education Opportunities Program (EOP).
Papa’s Pizza and Movie Night: Social event as well as fundraising for the Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society.
PeaceJam Northwest: Members served as mentors for the 2009 PeaceJam Northwest hosted at Oregon State University in an effort of raising youth global awareness via direct contact with Nobel Peace Prize Laureates and many activities that engages students in social justice issues.
Earth Day Booth: OSU MANRRS had a native plant sale in an effort of fundraising for Relay For Life to support American Cancer Society. OSU MANRRS Chapter recruited new members, educated the public on the values of native plants, helped provide future beauty and habitat enhancement for the state, and earned funds for the American Cancer Society.

USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service STEP/SCEP interviews: Members applied and were interviewed on campus by visiting representatives.
Press interview: Members met with Rachel Robertson, CAS freelance writer, for an interview regarding OSU-MANRRS Chapter of the Year Award (COYA) and the 24th Annual Career Fair and Training Conference.
Asian Reporter Scholarship and Award Banquet: Members performed Korean Drumming and advertised OSU-MANRRS Chapter activities.

CAS Dean Discussion Group meeting: Selected officers attended the meeting to thank CAS for their support and to share their experiences about MANRRS and COYA.
Diversity Resources Fair: Members attended to meet with campus diversity leaders.
March 2009
National Conference OSU MANRRS was selected for National COYA competition. OSU MANRRS prepared for 10 chapter members to attend national conference in Indianapolis.

OSU 4-H Latino Outreach – Collected essays from members providing encouragement and opportunities for HS youth around Oregon.
MANRRS 24th Annual Career Fair and Training Conference: OSU MANRRS Chapter received Region VI Outstanding Chapter and National Chapter of the Year Awards.

OSU Diversity Summit: Members attended the summit to discuss ways to support student diversity development at OSU.
Career Makeover Wardrobe Event: OSU MANRRS solicited donations, advertised, organized, hosted and held event in MU Ballroom.
January 2009
MLK Peace Celebration Breakfast and Award Ceremony: 15 students represented MANRRS at MLK Breakfast and Award Ceremony sponsored by the Office of Community and Diversity.
MANRRS Spotlight at Ag. Exec Council Meeting, representative discussed OSU MANRRS Chapter community service, professional development and leadership support and opportunities with leaders from other CAS organizations.
Science Math Investigation and Learning Experience Teacher Workshop: Current GTA gave presentation to visiting high school teachers from around state of Oregon and introduced the MSP scholarship as part of OSU-MANRRS Chapter participation.
Office of Community and Diversity meet and greet: Members met with other leaders on campus.
November 2008
Regional Conferences: The Region VI had stepped up as the first MANRRS region ever that hosted two workshops. The first workshop took place at New Mexico State University. OSU-MANRRS Chapter hosted the second Region VI Workshop. With a total of 81 registrations coming from three different universities, one community college and four high schools, the workshop was designed to link students with students, faculty, and professionals.
October 2008
Beaver Community Fair: Members prepared and displayed OSU-MANRRS Chapter booth on the MU Quad, recruited and collected names of interested students, advertised the Regional Conference hosted at OSU.
September 2008
College of Agricultural Sciences - New Student BBQ: Members attended to welcome students new to CAS and recruit members for OSU-MANRRS Chapter.
