Student of the Month
December 2011 – Leadership
Jon reflects that leadership is never the same for two people and is completely customizable. When given a problem to solve in college, the most simplified techniques of leadership are often overlooked. In his college career, the areas of leadership he has addressed include networking, working as a team, personal relations, and time management.
He has had opportunity to put into practice his own leadership style as the owner of a groundskeeper/landscape design business, as a manager and prep cook at a pizza restaurant, as an officer in the Agricultural Executive Council, Collegiate FFA and as a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He is currently a Fellow in the Leadership Academy.
Jon is an Agricultural Business Management major, with a minor in Communications, who expects to graduate in June 2013.
