“The Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station announces the release of Sara Barley (Hordeum vulgare subsp. vulgare). Sara is a spring habit, hooded barley that is resistant to barley stripe rust (incited by Puccinia striiformis f.sp.hordei). Sara has a six-row spike and white aleurone. It was tested as "Sara" I and under the experimental designation CMB93621-A-1Y-14B-0Y."
