The National Ground Water Research and Educational Foundation (NGWREF) funds matching grants to benefit the quality of life for people in developing nations around the world without access to plentiful supplies of potable groundwater.  Groundwater Supply Project: A groundwater supply project must serve the general public in a community setting in a developing nation. Applicants should have a history of not less than three years of demonstrated success in projects for potable groundwater drinking water supply.  Education and Training Program: An education and training program must be for groundwater development, well construction, well head protection, well pumping systems and/or maintenance of wells and pumping systems. The program must be primarily for education and training of residents of a developing nations and preferable conducted in a developing nation.
