CAS Sponsored Research Program Administrator
The Sponsored Research Program Administrator facilitates faculty development of large, complex, multi-investigator, multi-disciplinary or multi-institutional proposals; monitors grant funding opportunities; provides resources and training to increase faculty competitiveness.

AMBC Grants/Contracts Coordinator
This position plays a critical role by providing fiscal analysis, projections, interpretation of policy, budget management, planning and review of all financial aspects for multiple departments supported by AMBC. The Grants and Contracts Coordinator assists faculty and administrators to interpret agency contracts and agreements, university policy and general accounting principles and procedures. In addition, this position determines appropriate index and account codes for financial transactions and payroll, makes decisions related to budget preparation and management for foundation funds, grants and contracts, monitors transactions, advises and provides all financial information to principal investigators.

All grant proposals submitted by faculty in the College of Agricultural Sciences are required to be routed through the Dean's office for signature. The Dean's office keeps track of all the proposals submitted from the college. Before you submit your proposal, please consider the following:
1. Provide sufficient time for your proposal to be reviewed:
We do our best to process your proposals in a timely manner; however, there are times when your proposal cannot be signed and processed immediately. Please be patient and provide sufficient time for your proposal to be reviewed by the CAS Deans. We recommend a minimum of 24 hours for processing.
2. Make sure to have a fully completed Transmittal Form attached to the front of your proposal (this process will fully convert to Cayuse by July 2012:
All proposals must have a Transmittal Form. This form can be filled out electronically and printed.

Please make sure to mark all the appropriate fields for your proposal. Be sure to have all your Regulatory Compliance clearance completed prior to proposal submission. All the information on the Transmittal Form is recorded for monthly and annual reports. Missing information will result in delays of the processing of your proposal.
Once your proposal is signed we will walk it down to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP). We make two trips per day at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
Any proposals that arrive in our office after 3:00 pm will be signed and delivered to OSP the following business day. The College of Agricultural Sciences will make an electronic copy for its files.
3. Conversion to Cayuse proposal management system.
While OSU converts to the online proposal transmittal and submission system, Cayuse, both the paper transmittal and Cayuse processes will be supported.
