Research Proposal: Policies and Procedures

All grant proposals submitted by faculty in the College of Agricultural Sciences need to be routed through the Dean's office for signature. The Dean's office keeps track of all the proposals submitted from the college and provides monthly and annual reports. Please bring your proposal to 138 Strand Agriculture Hall.

Before you bring your proposal to our office, please consider the following:

1. Provide sufficient time for your proposal to be reviewed:

We make two trips to the Research Office per day, 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.

If you would like your proposal to go down to the Research Office by 10:30, make sure to have your proposal to our office by 9:30.

f you would like your proposal to go down to the Research Office by 3:30, make sure to have your proposal to our office by 2:30.

Any proposal that come to our office after 3:30 will be taken to the Research Office the following working day at 10:30.

2. Bring the original and 3 copies:

The Research Office requires the original and 2 copies.

The College of Agricultural Sciences keeps one copy for our records.

3. Make sure to have a Blue Sheet attached to the front of your proposal:

All proposals must have a Blue Sheet.

This form can be filled out electronically and printed

Please make sure to mark all the appropriate fields for your proposal. All the information on the Blue Sheet is recorded for monthly and annual reports.

Make sure to have all your Regulatory Compliance clearance beforehand.
