Student Clubs and Organizations
As a student in the College of Agricultural Sciences (CAS), you gain so much from participating in student clubs, activities, professional organizations, and intercollegiate competitions. And, you have a lot of fun too!
Here are some reasons why it’s important to be involved in campus activities:
- You gain the leadership, teamwork, and field experience that employers and scholarship donors look for.
- You meet potential employers or those who know potential employers.
- You can go on fun field trips, such as white-water rafting on the McKenzie River, camping in Oregon’s Hells Canyon, or viewing Victoria Island’s Buchart Gardens.
- You make new friends.
You can join any club no matter what your academic major is.
Most of the clubs and organizations listed below are members of the CAS Agricultural Executive Council, the college’s student government. The council includes elected officers and representatives from each member club or organization.
