OSU Organic Grower's Club - Pitchfork Revolution

Ag day is really all about the clubs. It’s a showcase of student clubs in the College of Agricultural Sciences. We have a lot of different groups here. We have the passerbys - the students of non-agricultural fields who just wander through. Ag day coincides with career development days, which is an enormous event for FFA kids. They come here from all over the state. They also brought middle school kids. It’s really a community event. Our goal is recruitment to the College of Ag and retention. This serves both. OSU is sort of a big school to kind of comprehend, but if you can just comprehend one of the clubs and connect with it, that’s a really great way to get involved.

Student club members have fun working at the OSU Organic Growers Farm where they get hands-on experience.
