AgSci Scholarships

Students received nearly $300,000 in financial support from the College of Agricultural Sciences this year! And that doesn't include the additional $200,000 in funds our students received from our departments. Awards vary from $500 to full in-state tuition, with an average of over 140 awards distributed each year. Please read the information below before applying.

NOTE: If you are not a currently enrolled OSU student, your scholarship application is included in your ADMISSIONS process.

Eligibility

ALL students currently enrolled in an AgSci degree program are eligible to apply. This includes students taking courses at OSU’s main Corvallis campus, OSU's location on the Eastern Oregon University campus in La Grande, OSU’s distance-education program, or OSU’s degree partnership program with select Oregon community colleges. Students with an agricultural science–related interest enrolling or enrolled in the general agriculture or environmental science program at OSU’s Cascades campus also are considered.

Selection

Often, many criteria other than academic record and financial need are used to select scholarship recipients. The College of Agricultural Sciences determines eligibility for scholarships and makes final selection of award recipients.

Selected students must maintain continuous full-time undergraduate enrollment by registering for a minimum of 12 credit hours each term of the academic year at OSU's Corvallis campus or the college's La Grande location, or a minimum of 6 OSU credit hours, having 12 credit hours overall, each term at the OSU Cascades campus or an OSU-affiliated Degree Partnership Program (dual admission and enrollment with a community college) or an Ecampus (onilne distance-education) program. Note: Departmental (not college-level) scholarships may not require full time enrollment. Please check your department's website for specifics regarding eligibility.
