I have returned to oil painting after a hiatus of thirty years. During those years I've been doing sculpture and printmaking. Still lives are where I began and what I've come back to. I always prefer organic imagery -- fruits, vegetables, plants and animals. My heart is in the natural world. The glass in this painting was a challenge. I decided to let color takeover.
