Garden to Table: Carrots

Gardening, growing and cultivation has fascinated and occupied me seasonally. I have had gardens in every place I have lived for the last 35 years. Currently, my garden is in the back of my art studio. Periodically, I take break from making art to work in the garden. It's meditative, restful and gives me time to refocus. There is something magical about planting a seed or start in the ground and then watching the transformation of a tender shoot into a full grown food producing plant. The tender morsels consumed from this endeavor have been an extremely tasty reward.
