"My paintings are in a variety of styles these days. It may be the medium I choose or the visual enjoyment of the objects I portray that determines how much color or texture or details I put into a given work. I enjoy spontaneity and brevity of expression, but also like bold colors and gestural lines placed in solid compositions.“
