About the Artist:

      Eugene painter and printmaker, Jon Jay Cruson, studied art at the University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Fine Arts. Inspired by the discovery of open spaces, wide expanses of sky, and landscapes that have endured throughout his lifetime, Jon travels the Pacific Northwest region gathering colors, patterns, and shapes for his unique compositions. He is distinguished with solo exhibitions, honors, and artist residencies. Jon’s art is included in seven book publications, and many periodical and newspaper feature articles. His travels include tours to Canada; Southeast Asia; Japan; Hong Kong; 45 of the United States; 6 European countries; England, Scotland, and Ireland; Mexico; and Tahiti and Moorea (Society Islands). Jon’s art is held internationally in private and public collectons.
