This tomato was developed by Oregon State University. The ancestors of Indigo Rose include dark-colored tomatoes from breeders in Bulgaria and the U.S. and wild tomatoes from Chile and the Galapagos Islands. Indigo Rose’s beginnings were in the 1960s.
