Our mission is to educate students and the public about plants and their global relevance, to conduct cutting edge plant biology research, and to apply that knowledge to address important societal issues.
The College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State is offering a special scholarship opportunity for new out-of-state students interested in attending in the 2020-21 school year. There will be at least $14,000 available for those students interested in pursuing one of four degrees (including Botany). But time is running out. Applications must be in by February 1.
One degree, five options. Learn the core scientific and analytical skills surrounding botany and plant pathology, and focus your education on one of five key areas of focus.
We offer Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Within each program, students may elect to specialize in one of eight key areas of concentration.
