This award was established in 1999 to honor selected individuals belonging to the Pacific Division with 10 or fewer years of postgraduate experience and/or service. The award can be for a single outstanding contribution or for sustained significant notable contributions to plant pathology in extension, research, teaching or industry. Nominees must also be active members of the Pacific Division. Additional information and previous winners can be found on the Early Career Award website.
Nominations can be made by any member or group of members belonging to the Pacific Division. The Early Career Award is awarded as appropriate only in years when exceptional candidates are nominated.
