Course Description

Programming methods relevant to ecological engineering, including hardware/software integration. PREREQS: Sophomore standing, consent of instructor.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this course, students should be able to

  1. Develop compuatioanl thinking skills.
  2. Gain understaning of principles of computer programming using Python, with applications in the area of ecological engineering.
  3. Develop capabilities for programming hardwar-based sensing and control systems using microcontrollers.
