The B.S. in Sustainability is a Double Degree that must be paired with a B.A. or B.S. in a primary major. Students must complete the credits necessary for a primary major and earn 32 additional credits in Sustainability.
Double Degree students 1) take five required courses that cover the ecological, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability, 2) choose several electives, some of which may overlap with their primary major, and 3) gain experience in the field of Sustainability by completing an internship, research project, study abroad program, or Alternative Break trip. Many required courses and electives fulfill Baccalaureate Core areas.
