Rangeland sciences is about the study and sustainable management of landscapes across a variety of biomes from the very arid, such a deserts, to the moderately mesic, such as grasslands. Students working in rangeland ecosystems will gain knowledge and skills to bolster their career success.

Note: Completion of the Rangeland Sciences minor alone does not qualify students for rangeland conservationist positions with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
