The Department of Crop and Soil Science is hosting a screening of the film "Between Earth and Sky" on Thursday, May 4th at LaSells Stewart Center from 5:30pm-10:00pm as part of OSU’s “Beyond Earth Day” celebration. The film documents the effects of climate change on the soils, ecosystems, wildlife, and communities in Alaska.  Arrive at 5:30PM for free appetizers at the Science-Climate-Art Showcase that will feature students, artists, and community members working to address and bring attention to climate change issues.  Several tables will feature hands-on, interactive activities meant for the whole family!

The film screening starts at 7:00PM and will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s director Paul Hunton, and executive producer Dr. David Weindorf.  For more information and to RSVP for the event, please visit the event page:
