College of Agricultural Sciences Distinguished Alumni Leader Award
Brent Fetsch
Brent Fetsch landed a great job right after graduating from OSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences. The Northwest Farm Credit Services saw in Brent someone with deep roots in Oregon agriculture and a savvy understanding of what it means to serve rural communities. He grew rapidly as a leader and is now Oregon President of the Northwest Farm Credit Services, where he continues to serve farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and timber producers throughout the West.
As leader of the OSU relationship team at the NW Farm Credit Services, Brent has guided generous gifts to our College and the College of Forestry. He serves on the AgSci Dean’s Council, where he is a voice for Oregon’s agriculture and natural resource communities. And he serves on the advisory committee of the Leadership Academy, where he supports the development of our graduates who will come out of this college, like he did, with the skills necessary to begin a successful career and provide a valuable service to communities across the Northwest.
