BRR students Martine Torres and Tiffany Harper won highly competitive MSP scholarships.

Around 20 BRR students have been awarded prestigious scholarships from the Multicultural Scholars Program (MSP), funded by three grants from the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) of the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). The program offers undergraduate scholarships to students underrepresented in agricultural and natural resource sciences and first-generation college students interested in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Food Science, or Human Health and Nutrition. A number of students have also received schholarhips for serving as MSP Mentors.

Although there are currently no new openings for MSP applications, occasionally a scholarship becomes available.  For more information, see the MSP website.
