Environmental Sciences Diversity Scholarship (ESDS)

This fund, founded by Rick and Sylvia Cardwell and his wife, aims to increase opportunities for students who have high financial need and are otherwise disadvantaged.

The DEI Fund

The DEI fund directly targets three distinct OSU organizations aimed at increasing access for underrepresented students in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. This includes:

  • SACNAS: The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is a society that aims to further the success of Chicano/Hispanic and Native American students in obtaining advanced degrees, careers, leadership positions, and equality in the STEM field.
  • MANRRS: The mission of MANRRS is to promote academic and professional advancement by empowering Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences.
  • SCC: Students for Cultivating Change (SCC) exists to build a community for LGBTQ+ folk and allies within the College of Agricultural Sciences.
