It was a pleasure to formally and publicly recognize Lisa Ballance, Director of the Marine Mammal Institute, as the Endowed Chair of Marine Mammal Research. While this award was named pre-pandemic, October 31, 2022 was the first opportunity for Dean Staci Simonich to publicly recognize this accomplishment.
