International Programs

Provides leadership for CAS faculty and student international collaborations in teaching,research, and extension, including the following aspects:

  • Serving as the point of contact for all CAS international efforts and initiatives.
  • Identify, develop and implement a strategic vision consistent with CAS and Extension international efforts that includes teaching, research and extension.
  • Contribute to developing models that lead to sustainable funding (including grants and fees) for global priorities and strategies, specific to international projects and initiatives.
  • Design and manage international activities, such as international partnership development, faculty exchange and applied research opportunities with institutions in other countries.
  • Manage and coordinate CAS international relationships and activities.
  • Collaborate with various offices connected to global activity, including Office of Faculty Affairs, Office of International Services, Office of Global Opportunities,and others, to ensure alignment with OSU policies and best practices and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean for Academics, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Associate Dean for Research, and Associate Dean for Extension to foster and promote international collaborations for CAS faculty and students around teaching, research, and extension.
  • Coordinate with CAS and Extension communications and evaluation teams to articulate the benefits of developing international programs and initiatives and to articulate and develop supporting resources for such work.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with an international network of institutions to promote CAS international opportunities and collaborations in relationship to the CAS & University Strategic Plan (SP 4.0)
