On April 13, the College of Agricultural Sciences at Oregon State held a lunch to celebrate the lifetime contributions of 12 new inductees to the Diamond Pioneer Agricultural Achievement Registry.
The Diamond Pioneer Agricultural Achievement Registry was established in 1983 when the College of Agricultural Sciences celebrated its 75th anniversary. Since then, the College has honored the significant lifetime contributions to agriculture, natural resources, Oregon State University, and the people of our great state. It probably won’t surprise you to know that, while the individuals we honor are vastly different in their unique skills and passions, they share a generosity of spirit with humility and grace. This award ceremony provides us the opportunity to publicly recognize their tremendous accomplishments.
