Pesticide Evaluation and Education, Magnitude of Residue Field Trials; Imidacloprid/Beet and Carrot; Propaconazole/Beet and Carrot

The objective of each trial was to:

  • Collect samples of beet tops and roots from plants to which the test substances, hnidacloprid and propaconazole had been applied.
  • Laboratory analyses of the treated and untreated samples will be completed in order to determine the amount of test substance residues remaining in the plants at harvest.
  • The residue data will beĀ used to prepare a national tolerance request for both products in all root crops.
  • Collecting data on the effectiveness of either product was not an objective of this project.
