Radiant spring barley

The Washington Agricultural Research Center, the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station, the Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station and the United States Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Research Service jointly announce the release of ‘Radiant’ spring barley to farmers and seedsman for commercial production. Radiant was tested under the line designation WA98NZ223. It was developed by the Washington Agricultural Research Center and is unique because it is the first proanthocyanidin-free barley released at Washington State University and in the United States of America.
