Exploratory Research applications must be relevant to one or more of the following: Plant health and production; animal health; food safety, nutrition, health; bioenergy, natural resources, and environment; agriculture economics and rural communities. Projects must be potentially transformative and not incremental in nature. These ideas will provide quantum leaps in our knowledge and capabilities in agriculture and food production.
