ARIS Research Fellowship Program supports and elevates exceptional researchers who are committed to expanding the societal benefits of their work through effective Broader Impacts (BI). The fellowship fosters innovation, strengthens leadership capacity, and deepens researchers’ understanding of how to extend, apply, and communicate their research for the public good.
The program’s goals are to:
• Advance and expand fellows’ Broader Impacts portfolios, supporting meaningful, innovative, and scalable BI efforts.
• Build a strong, collaborative network of researchers who are dedicated to enhancing and elevating Broader Impacts across disciplines.
• Promote and disseminate effective BI practices through publications, presentations, and other scholarly contributions by the fellows.
For questions about the program, please contact Julie Risien, who is a principal investigator on the NSF grant supporting this work.
