EFC is launching its 2026 request for applications (RFA). This RFA seeks research for field trials to evaluate the agronomic performance and environmental impact of EEFs in targeted geographical regions and cropping systems. Research results will provide science-based information to improve decision making, increase efficient fertilizer use and bolster profits. The Efficient Fertilizer Consortium supports applied research that accelerates the development and wider adoption of EEFs that increase crop nutrient use efficiency, support desired crop yield and reduce nutrient losses.
Interested applicants can also register to attend an informational webinar hosted by FFAR on February 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. EST. A recording of the webinar will also be available on the 2026 Efficient Fertilizer Consortium RFA webpage.
