The Southern Oregon Research & Extension Center has had a long history of conducting research, demonstrations, and variety trials to support the forage-livestock industry in the Rogue Valley and broader southwest Oregon. Currently, SOREC maintains a forage species demonstration plot in collaboration with the Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District, an organic alfalfa production demonstration, and several replicated experiments exploring the plant ecology of managed perennial forage systems. On this page you will find select research reports, both current and historical, research posters, useful links, and contact information for our researchers.
