MRL Information

The Foreign Agriculture Service database is kept up-to-date and is the best place to search for MRLs for countries around the world.

The Northwest Horticultural Council maintains an export manual on its website.  Click on "individual countries" to see the export requirements for a country of interest.  The NHC also prepares specific commodity or country alerts as necessary.

Growers providing fruit to export markets should be aware that just because a pesticide is labeled for use in the United States, other countries might not accept fruit treated with that product.  Growers should consult the lists of permissible Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for fruit crops to the export countries.
