The Sustainability Double Degree team encourages sustainability collaboration and action across all of OSU, the community of Corvallis, the state of Oregon, the nation, and the world.
OSU's Sustainability Office, Campus Recycling, and OSU Transportation Services have partnered to develop a Green Office Certification to promote office sustainability at OSU. Offices complete a comprehensive qualtrics survey that can be finishe at any pace and sends the results to the Sustainability Office. The Sustainability office then reviews the survey and gives the office a score and certification level, as well as suggested steps to take for improvement. This certification is a fantastic way to learn how your office can reeduce its carbon footprint and contribute to the sustainability culture at OSU!
The OSU Sustainability Office created the Carbon Planning Toolkit to help OSU colleges and divisions create plans to address climate change. The toolkit provides motivated community members with resources for them to form a team, develop an action plan, and implement it to help hold OSU to its commitment to being Carbon Neutral by 2025.

Congrats Beavs, we beat the Ducks in our annual 8-week recycling competition for the first time since 2015! On average, we found that OSU recycled 8.79lbs per person compared to UofO’s 8.14lbs per person. We estimate that OSU recycled over 240,000lbs of material that counted towards the competition! Time to go pick up the trophy!
