This spring, ER Jackman Friends & Alumni attended the Hyslop Field Day in Corvallis, OR to table and showcase efforts to support College of Agricultural Sciences student scholarships, internships, and clubs. In attendance were board members Helle Ruddenklau (President), John McCulley, and Karen Withers.
Their presence highlighted the vital connection between alumni, industry partners, the greater Corvallis community, and current students. By engaging directly with attendees, ER Jackman was able to speak to the impact of the programs and students they support, build awareness, foster new relationships, and encourage future involvement in the College’s mission.
Participating in events like Hyslop Field Day also allows ER Jackman to stay connected with the evolving needs of the agricultural sciences community. It’s a chance to listen, learn, and adapt their efforts to better serve students and the industry at large.

"Most CAS alums who stopped at the table didn’t know about E.R. Jackman Friends and Alumni and were impressed with all that we do for students. It was also fun to catch up with people I hadn’t seen for a while."
