Summer is here, and with it, a chance to celebrate our fantastic year. Congratulations to our graduates! This year, we celebrated a significant milestone with our first college-wide graduation ceremony, a fitting tribute to your dedication and perseverance. It was inspiring to see the culmination of your hard work recognized in front of your proud families.
I also want to congratulate our faculty and staff who received recognition at our Faculty & Staff Awards this year. Your commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service is truly remarkable. To all faculty and staff across the state, your contributions are the foundation of our college’s success and impact throughout Oregon. Your hard work and dedication are deeply appreciated.
Keep an eye out for events and opportunities to connect over the summer, including field days at our agricultural experiment stations across the state, and our Art About Agriculture touring exhibit. I hope to see you there!
As we conclude a successful spring term and an exceptional year, I encourage everyone to take some well-deserved time to rest and recharge. Spend time with family and friends, and enjoy a well-earned break.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable summer.
