Brian Hartman

Brian has been working with the Bioenergy Education Initiative since 2013.  He has undergraduate degrees in biological engineering, as well as biology.  He completed a masters degree in Education where he specialized in Science Education.  After teaching high school science for five years, he spent 12 years in industry practicing engineering.  Most recently, he worked for Trimble in Corvallis, Oregon where he managed the development of hardware and software for agriculture and other industries.  He will complete his PhD in Science Education with a specialty in K-12 engineering curriculum in September, 2016. In the fall of 2016, Brian will be joining the staff of Walla Walla University as Assistant Professor of Education and Director of Institutional Research.
