Biography
Cassandra Waterman is an Instructor and the Graduate Studies Coordinator in the Department of Agricultural Education and Agricultural Sciences. She holds an M.S in Agricultural Education from Oregon State University, Corvallis, and is a proud alumna with a strong passion for people and agriculture. Cassandra chose the path of Agricultural Education because she values building relationships and the strength of shared learning within the community. She views her role as an educator is to provide support, empower others, and work together to build an equitable and resilient community food system. Cassandra is a Bahamian, born and raised, and an island girl at heart. When not on campus, you can find her strolling along the coast with her husband and two dogs, paddling the Willamette, or exploring this lush, verdant valley by bicycle.
