Geoauthenticity - Identify patterns in chemical data to effectively fingerprint food commodities based on their origin. Analytical techniques include Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectroscopy and Elemental Analyzer-Isotopic Ratio Mass Spectometry.  Statistical techniques include variable reduction, pattern recognition and predictive modeling.

Food Quality - Attending to the analytical needs of food producers to make analytical chemistry techniques accessible to field and plant workers.

Biotechnology - Bio-enhancement of plants to synthesis valuable chemicals for use in pharmaceuticals and personal care products.
