Dr. Rosenberger on the Leadership Academy:
The Leadership Academy helps students build important skills, such as critical thinking, team work, and communication, which benefit them in their personal and professional lives. These benefits include making better decisions, enhancing career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, and working with others. Recently I have spoken with many of our partners in public and private sectors that employ our students—they have unanimously noted a great interest and need in leadership skills for new hires.
I believe the Leadership Academy is a necessary component of a holistic education, and as such, I want to be part of it. I believe that through mentoring, I can make a difference for an LA fellow, but also to foster an opportunity to learn from the younger generation so that I can do my job better.

Role at OSU: I have recently moved into administration as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the College of Forestry. However, transition is neither short nor easy, so I’ll still be active in teaching, research, and graduate student advising for the near future, and I hope for the long term as well.
