Jaeger’s teaching includes courses in environmental and natural resource economics, water economics, and sustainability.

Biography

Dr. Jaeger is professor in the Department of Applied Economics, where he teaches environmental and resource economics and where he is an extension agricultural and resource policy specialist. His research includes water resources, climate change, and interdisciplinary research on human-natural systems. Prior to coming to Oregon State University, Dr. Jaeger spent 12 years in the economics department at Williams College, MA. He has been a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence, Italy and a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Venice, Italy. He has taught at the University of Washington, the University of Oregon, and was a research economist at the World Bank. He serves on the board of directors of ELAW, the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide.
