The Oregon China Council brought together researchers from Oregon and China at a climate summit in 2023, and that connection has led to additional conversations. Researchers from China’s leading agricultural university visited NWREC in 2023 and have invited OSU to bring students to China for a student cultural and research exchange in September 2024. The visit will include tours of China’s largest agrivoltaics projects, in addition to other historic and cultural sites.
