2026 class of Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) scholars

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has named its 2026 class of Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) scholars, and OSU College of Agricultural Sciences students are among the awardees and honorable mentions.

The GRFP is a prestigious program that supports outstanding graduate students pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in more than 100 NSF-supported STEM fields with three years of financial support.

This year, the College of Agricultural Sciences had seven winners

  • Jessalyn Myers, a graduate student in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences
  • Natalie Donato, an undergraduate student working in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Science
  • Kaylene Abraham, a graduate student in Crop Science
  • Jasmine Summers-Evans, a graduate student in Water Resources Engineering
  • Noelle Foster, a graduate student in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences
  • Allissa Van Steenis, a graduate student in Microbiology
  • Tara Conrad, a graduate student in Microbiology

The College also had two Honorable Mentions:

  • Angelica Vityukov, an undergraduate student in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Science
  • Birgitta Woods, a graduate student in Botany and Plant Pathology
