Emily graduated from Rutgers University in 2016 with a Plant Biology degree and a focus in Turfgrass Management. In 2017, she moved out to Oregon and started working as a Faculty Research Assistant for Alec Kowalewski. During her time at OSU, Emily’s research has included disease management on annual bluegrass putting greens, adaptation of low-input fine fescue cultivars in sustainable landscapes, integrated pest management strategies for reduced pesticide inputs, and turfgrass variety evaluation.
