I assist with research related to grapevine red blotch disease (GRBD) and its causative agent the grapevine red blotch virus, namely in regards to detection methodology, local epidemiology, symptom mitigation, and vector identification. I also am involved with pear disease management research, specifically with gray mold and fire blight of pear. My responsibilities in this position include lab management, data collection and analysis, and the presentation and publication of research.
